Day 1: Arrival In Santo Domingo – Welcome To The Colonial City
Upon arrival at Las Américas International Airport (SDQ), you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel in the charming Colonial Zone, an UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its cobblestone streets, colonial architecture, and vibrant atmosphere.
The afternoon and evening are at leisure to rest after your flight or enjoy an optional stroll through the historic district, where every corner tells the story of the New World. - Accommodation 2 nights.
Day 2: Santo Domingo – Discovering Colonial History
Enjoy a free day to explore the treasures of the oldest city in the New World. Immerse yourself in history, culture, and architecture while visiting some of its most iconic sites :
• First Cathedral of the Americas, the first cathedral built in the Americas.
• Colón Alcázar, the former residence of Diego Colón.
• Calle El Conde, the city’s main pedestrian and shopping street.
• National Pantheon, resting place of the nation’s heroes.
• Ozama Fortress, a symbol of the colonial era.
• Charming museums, cafés, and colonial corners to enjoy at your own pace.
Day 3: From Santo Domingo To Puerto Plata Via Santiago – Culture And Tradition
After breakfast, we begin our drive to Puerto Plata, with a stop in Santiago, the cultural capital of the northern region. Here you can experience:
•Monument to the Heroes of the Restoration, a historically significant landmark.
•La Aurora Cigar Factory (visit available Monday to Friday only), where you’ll learn about the traditional artisan process of Dominican cigars.
•Calle El Sol, one of the city’s liveliest and most iconic streets, full of local culture and energy.
After exploring Santiago, continue to Puerto Plata, enjoying breathtaking landscapes and the natural beauty of the region. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and enjoy free time to relax or explore the coastal city.
Day 4: Sosúa – Beach, Adventure & Culture
Enjoy Playa Alicia for stunning sunsets, or dive into the reefs of Sosúa Bay for snorkeling and diving. Sail on a catamaran, explore Monkey Jungle, and discover local history at the Jewish Museum. Don’t miss local art, crafts, and Dominican cuisine by the sea.
Nightlife: bars, live music, and a vibrant Caribbean atmosphere to end your day.
Day 5: Cabarete: Adventure & Fun On The Water
Enjoy Playa Encuentro with a surf lesson in the morning waves, or visit Lagunas de Cabarete and Goleta, a protected park with caves, lagoons, and mangroves. Head to Kite Beach for a kitesurfing lesson or simply admire the spectacular sight of dozens of kites flying. For a calmer option, try kayaking or paddleboarding on the lagoon.
Dinner & nightlife: dine at beachfront restaurants with live music and a relaxed Caribbean vibe or explore the lively bars and lounges after dark.
Day 6: Puerto Plata And Its Wonders
Stroll along the Malecón and the Historic Center, explore the historic Fortaleza San Felipe, and visit the Amber Museum. Enjoy delicious Dominican cuisine and end the day with a rum tasting at Brugal, experiencing the true Caribbean spirit of Puerto Plata. Optional: a city tour to explore more of the local culture and landmarks.

•In the morning, embark on a trip to the 27 Waterfalls of Damajagua, a natural wonder where you can hike, jump, slide, and swim through the waterfalls. Options depending on your pace:
-7 waterfalls: ~2–3 hours
-12 waterfalls: ~3–4 hours
-27 waterfalls: ~4–5 hours
•Experience the excitement at Ocean World Adventure Park with interactive dolphin, sea lion, and shark encounters.
•Explore Umbrella Street and Pink Street, colorful pedestrian streets in the historic center perfect for photos and cafés.
•End the day at Playa Alicia in Sosúa, enjoying sunset and dinner by the sea.
Day 8: Return To Santo Domingo – End Of Your Adventure
After breakfast, begin your drive back to Las Américas International Airport (SDQ). Upon arrival, return your rental vehicle and proceed to board your departure flight, taking with your unforgettable memories from your journey through the Dominican Republic.
